In the Hardware Hacking Area assembly: Learn how to create custom footprints and symbols for KiCad. We will learn how to create custom footprints and symbols to be used with KiCad. We will also take a short look at the Kicad-Library-Convention and the process for upstreaming your symbols/footprints. Please come with a Computer and KiCad 5.1.x - including component libraries - installed on it. To Get KiCad look into your trusted package manager or http://kicad-pcb.org/download/ If time permits we will also answer as much Questions as possible.
