A flagship project of the Grant for the Web program, Immers Space is building a decentralized social network for the metaverse. Using open Web standards, we'll enable WebXR content creators to connect with visitors' profiles across platforms, import their avatars, and invite their friends to join them. The social network effect can drive discovery of and engagement with Immersive Web experiences, and we're also building tools to make content creation financially sustainable (without hosting ads) using Web Monetization
