this little all vinyl mix is a loosely arranged assembly of experimental yet easily accessible somewhat popish tracks, some dating back to the early 80s, others quite comtemporary. my vague aim was to create an atmosphere that I´d find attractive for coding or hacking (if I were ever to do that, which I don´t and won´t so it´s rather illusory to imagine, fine with me anyway) or simply chillin´ around with some interesting mental music to go along. the overall vibe is relaxed, but within an hour playtime scenes and atmospheres develop in unexpected ways and directions. while there´s a general dramatic structure that I arranged, enough room for improvisation and randomness was given and maintained. two lengthy tracks add a somewhat gravitational character to the mix, instead of these I could have played at least a handful of shorter ones, making the whole thing more twisting and turning, but deliberately choose for the tranquil focus of two epic main themes. welcome to an hour of adventure loungin´...
