ASAP. For us, it means "as simple as possible". We have a yet vague vision of hardware, operating systems, software and infrastructure which is simple enough that it fulfils the needs of most users and can cover a lot of important use cases without being overly complicated or complex.
To perform a simple task like sending a message in the year 2020, we are using hardware with billions of transistors, software with hundreds of millions of lines and networks which are even more complex. We think that it should be possible to reduce the complexity of many tasks so far that we can get it done with a fraction of today's complexity, and as a consequence reduce the security risks and the safety issues inherent in so many of the currently existing solutions.
