About this session 🔗
No matter if you already know the Open Source Gardens or you have never heard about it before - if you are interested in Open Source and gardening, this is the session for you <3
After a short introduction and welcome round, we will briefly talk about all the exciting things that have happened during the year and since our meeting at the last rc3: From our seed-sharing campaign "ConnectingGardens" in spring to our seed-saving workshop in autumn. After this input we have time to discuss your ideas and our proposals for 2022 about what we are actually able to do and what we want to do - depending on our skills, ideas and common wishes ^^
We are small but very dedicated community that likes to grow. All our activities depend on your ideas and friendly contributions and there is a lot of space for your creativity. Join us, together we like to grow with you!
Proposed activities for 2022 include, depending on skills, ideas and wishes: * Seed sharing campaign in spring * Internet of Gardens * Technical upgrades and improvements * Design and communication improvements * Guerilla gardening * ...
If you cannot join the workshop (but also if you can : D ), you are welcome to connect via our new Matrix room: https://matrix.to/#/#open-source-gardens:matrix.org
Happy gardening!
About Open Source Gardens 🔗
Open Source Gardens is the idea to connect people via Open Source (philosophy/software/seeds) in a horticultural and creative way. In our gardens and in community gardens we plant so-called "Open Source Seeds" - seeds that are available to all people as public good (commons). We want to learn with and from each other and exchange ideas about gardening and open source. Through our exchanges we like to get to know each other further and grow together into a strong community. In the garden and online.
